With over 15 years of experience across engineering, technical support, and service environments, I have developed a strong and practical understanding of the engineering role, particularly in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and delivering effective solutions.
I began my career in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning industry as a trainee engineer, gaining hands-on experience in a family-run business. I later spent over nine years in the banking sector, where I also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, strengthening my analytical and technical capabilities.
I progressed into a 2nd Line Technical Support Engineer role, supporting over 100 engineers across the UK and Ireland. In this position, I became a key point of contact, known for quickly diagnosing issues, providing practical solutions, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
My strengths lie in clear communication, a logical and common-sense approach to problem-solving, and a strong understanding of operational and business needs. I work collaboratively, share knowledge openly, and consistently aim to deliver efficient, high-quality service.
Since 2021, I have returned to the HVAC industry, focusing on commercial systems. My core expertise includes fault diagnosis, repairs, installations, and maintenance.
